(Don’t mind my dog in the photo) Bought these with some not-so-high expectations and these well-exceeded expectations for me! I love the equalizer feature, definitely not a feature I’ve seen on a product like this… also when I bought these shells i thought they would be poorly made, cheap plastic but was very surprised by how beautiful these purple shells were, they’re a really nice reflective material and are very smooth, along with the shells being good quality they’re also very easy to remove and change out with your other shells (I love that they’re are many big artists on here that have shells) For their price, they’re definitely worth it. The good thing about these is not only are these good headphones for heavy metal music they’re also good for any number of genres and even non-music (tv & movies, etc.) I was also very surprised with the fact that these will charge all the way up in only 2 hours, and then have about 2 days worth of audio (50 hrs) definitely recommend for any music enjoyer or metalhead.
First off, fast shipping. Second, H1H's ROCK. Got 'em hooked up to my computer now using Boom 3D with 31 band EQ. Clean crisp bass. Awesome high's and everything in between sounds amazing. I have the volume level at about 1/3 and they are plenty loud. And with Hellblocker ANC on you can't hear anything from the outside world. Just Music, Music, Music. AAA +++ sound. Axel Grell you rock.
I've had my headphones for about a month and I'm amazed at the quality of sound that bathes my ears.
The quality of construction is great.
The battery is a power house.
I regret not buying them sooner.
If you decide to buy a pair, be sure to access the equalizer in the Heavys app. I have lost a lot of my hearing due to my career. The equalizer did the trick to tune the sound for my hearing.
I would highly recommend Heavys H1H to anyone who loves fidelity in music. Any kind of music, the performance of the H1H is excellent!
I could not be happier with my purchase.
Starting out, the sound is amazing, I hear the kind of detail I hear from my 14k PA system without the price and setup.
They are, Comfortable, no sweaty ears, and solid build quality without being too heavy (pun intended :).
Phone calls are awesome with these as you can hear every detail and inflection of a persons voice. Makes it feel like they are right there with you! Just amazing!
They charged in 20 min or less depending on source( fast charger).
Things I've noticed
Noise bleed of my music or media is clearly audible by anyone within 4 feet (not a good thing).
Volume on Bluetooth needs to be above 2/3rds to sound good (Proper tone no distortion from lack of power applied), not a big deal, but would love to hear the same quality at half volume to alleviate the issue of noise bleed issue stated (not even an issue when working, but in a waiting room....yeah).
The phone app needs some work as well. It took several attempts to connect to app for them to be registered. However once connected I have had zero issues since. would love a graphic RTA with audio response for adjusting eq.
I gave Them 5 stars for the sound, addressing the things I mentioned would make them perfect. In parting, I love them! At time of writing this I have had them on for 4 hrs strait and do not want to take them off.
I'm absolutely in love with my Heavys! I was using an old pair of Beats Studio 3's for about 7 years before they broke and I had to save up quite a bit until I could finally get them. They are super durable and both rock & metal have never been this good before!
It's so much better having constant comfort, adaptability with the mobile equalizer app, durability, & I recently just added on my new heart shells. I love that proceeds go to those in need for Mental Health. Overall a 5/5 on every front. 🖤🤘🏼🏴☠️
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I ordered these headphones, but, all I can say is they are amazing. I have listened to many headphones in my life. My favorites have always been Sennheiser. I should have known these would be great, because they are designed by Axel Grell.
I received these today (three days earlier than expected😎) I set them up in very short order & started listening to my most current playlist on my iPhone 17Pro Max. I could not believe how great these sound right out of the box. I downloaded the app, which includes a nine band equalizer. I am absolutely blown away how good these headphones sound. The bass is absolutely perfect, it’s not muddy, or exaggerated, & the mids, and highs, are crisp, but are capable of playing even the loudest Rock, & Metal with no signs of listening fatigue. I am a 65 year old great grandfather who listens to all things Rock, & Metal. I just received my signed copy of Demolition Engines, by Black Label Society. This album, & all the music (1000+ CDs) on my iPhone sound awesome. I would consider myself a critical listener, but I know that hifi is subjective. I am pleased that these headphones IMHO, do not impart any additional coloration to the sound. If the recording you are listening to is good these will sound amazing. If you listen to Metal, Rock, or any genre of music these will put a smile on your face, & if you are like me you’ll even get goosebumps when that song comes on that pulls you back in time to some distant memory.
If you are like me and have been sitting on the fence about buying these headphones, BUY THEM ALREADY!! They are worth every penny, and don’t forget to get additional shells for your headphones, or the case for the earbuds.
I bought the Heavy’s headphones in October 2024, even though I really had no business getting another pair. I’m a podcaster and already own several headphones, but I’m always chasing the best over-ear option. I’m so glad I gave these a shot.
I’ve used a few pairs of Beats Studio Pro over the years. They start out fine, but eventually they feel like they squeeze my ears, even though they’re supposed to be over-ear. For a long time, my go-to was the Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT. Those were solid with very few complaints, aside from occasionally having to replace the AV cables because they could pick up nearby radio signals.
But the Heavy’s headphones are beasts.
For podcasting, they’re excellent for recording and editing/producing my show.
The sound quality overall is great for music, movies, everything. But if I’m being honest, my favorite feature is the noise cancelling. I have misophonia, so certain sounds I can’t control can trigger anxiety, and that’s especially true on airplanes. When I put these on and the noise cancelling kicks in, I’m in complete peace.
I first used them on a trip to Japan in November 2024 and wore them for a full 12-hour flight, even while sleeping. I had total quiet while resting and great audio when watching movies.
I also really like the form-fitting case. I’ve dropped it a few times and the headphones have stayed in great shape.
At this point, these are my headphones going forward. From my experience, I haven’t found anything that compares.
i have owned these headphones for about two years now, i haven't once thought about replacing these... the sound quality is great wired or not, you can have multiple device (i have my desktop, meta q3s and phone) and it auto switches to whichever is playing audio. i got custom shells as well and they haven't gotten marked up or scratched up and i put them through a lot lol.
my ONLY complaint would be the price BUT they are great headphones so wut?
My sister-in-law ordered these on a whim and she liked them a lot, so I ordered me 1 for my birthday. When we go to their house after our party, I tried hers out and I fell in love with them. It secured me buying them. When I officially received my headphones, I was so stoked. I was able to get them all connected to my phone and the app. I wish I could use them at work but my job requires me to have an available ear to hear calls. I plan on buying the earbuds, but I can't afford them at this moment. But I have recommended these headphones to all my music lovers and especially metal music lovers and they ordered them as soon as they tried mine. Even my coworker bought a pair the next day. I kept seeing these headphones advertised to me and though you know what let me give it a go and I do not regret buying them one bit love them if they ever brake I am definitely getting another pair
I absolutely love both the headphones and the earbuds. They make my Bose products sound so hollow in comparison. I love listening to my playlists through these. Favorite way to listen to music ever.

Just got my new H1H headphones. Out of the box, they sounded great. But, I needed more intensity - pure and simple. And I found 2 ways to do it. I use Apple Music, so I headed to the Settings and found their EQ adjustments - and that worked fine. AND I downloaded the Heavys app on my phone and found their EQ settings. With a combination of using both the Apple Music and Heavys settings (I set them roughly the same), and I have I have what sounds like way more power - particularly bass. Not so much the loudness (more is better IMO), but it made a huge difference. And I'm using Lossless audio (AM). They sound AMAZING. I'm a f*cking happy camper.
These headphones are insane. Loud but the bass doesn’t bog down the treble and so forth. I am so happy I got the H1H brings my metal alive. Will b getting the Baby Metal shells very soon.
Also customer service is awesome. I don’t regret this purchase at all!!!!! Rock on

Found out most of the reviews were months if not years old and I believe that with firmware updates and the app eq have solved any issues I read or heard about. So I decided to pull the trigger and I am super happy. \\m//
There are hands down my favourite purchase! They are quite bulky BUT super comfy and the sound is incredible. Listening to old fave songs feels like a first listen with the clarity!
I have Asperger's and ADHD so I like loud noises. Think the Accountant movie but headphones needed. This is the best. This company truly cares about the quality and service of the customer. I had a noise cancelling feedback that I could hear. Made Me feel anxious and like underwater sound. Anyways they gave me a new pair even quicker than the first, and it worked. It's amazing. Also horror games like resident evil requiem sound so fulreaking good.
Holy shit. These are by far the best headphones I have ever gotten and have lasted me several years sk far. I am actually ordering a second pair as the foam padding is starting to go and wanted to look professional during interviews. Huge recommendation and were the only way I got through my first shit job. Huge props to the engineers that designed these. I would literally give them a six if I could.
I bought these to listen to metal and punk! I tried them for gaming and it was so great better than the Astros I had. Then I tried setting my audio quality to its highest!!! That's when these headphones shined! Then be the music lover I am I tried listening to country music that my Dad loved rest his soul!! And I'm pretty sure they made the best headphones for listening to country music. I have no complaints at all I'm in love with these Heavy's! Get em don't hesitate.
I am SHOCKED. I put them on as soon as they were delivered and I REFUSE to take them off. I was interested in the H1H over ears because my left ear has a lot of piercings that are having trouble healing and I can't have something pressed to them for long periods of time. I was nervous to see how these would fit. They go perfectly around my ear. My piercings are not squished into my head like most headphones do. Sound is AMAZING. I use them for music and for meetings at work. The microphone capability connecting to a Chromebook (according to my manager) isn't the best, but I can hear every little thing in her background. FULLY happy with my purchase!
This may turn into a long review but I want to share the full experience with these headphones.
My experience with headphones started with a pair of cheap 2014 Lidl headphones which were amazing for the price.
Being a Gumy earphone user, I quickly moved on to JBL and after a few years tested out the Soundcore range.
I finally stepped in to the next level with Nuraphone, but these proved to be uncomfortable for long period of use and switched to Sennheiser Momentum 4. These still sit at the top of the headphones I have owned.
Then.. then I was gifted the Heavys.
Before the app was introduced, I found myself continuing to use the Momentum 4s. While the Heavys were great for folk and soundtracks, I struggled with it on other genres.
Mid-2024 however, I switched back to using an iPod and here the Momentum 4s failed heavily. The Heavys however, when wired brought the music to life and same when using for gaming.
Once the app was released and I had control on the equaliser.. it became the perfect pair of headphones for when I used them wirelessly.
Other points that I life:
- they fold away nicely
- The customisation to support the bands you love
- the physical buttons!!
- and the space for ears that have tunnels/plugs. While other ear cups squish your ears in, these can cover at least tunnels up to 14mm and remain comfortable.
Believe the hype. Just got mine today and I couldn’t be happier. We’ll put together and appears to be built to stand the test of time. Sound is clean, crisp, smooth and the right amount of base. Definitely would recommend them to anyone ready to feel great music. Best set of headphones I have ever owned!!
